After being kidnapped by a group of 9 people that intend to sacrifice you to the Old Ones, a group of old gods that often chose humans to turn into Avatars of their will, you end up discovering that you have been marked by one of the old ones to possibly become an avatar. After discovering this, the Avatars decide to keep you around. Slowly they grow fond for you and you have the option to romance them.
